Wet Felting Workshop with Mary Jo Wentz has shifted to this Saturday, March 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Space is still available. Please call 548-5760 to RSVP.

We still have two spaces available for Watercolor Batik Workshop by Ruth Hanson the following Saturday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We are also taking registrations for two workshops in April, including a two-day Linocut Printmaking workshop with Mike Weatherly, April 15 and April 22, and a two-day Wood Relief Face Carving workshop from April 28-29. Space for all workshops is limited, so please don’t delay your registration. All materials, tools, and instruction are provided for all workshops and included with your registration fee.  “This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.”

Mari Fredericks will host a Stamp Card Making workshop at Landmark on Thursday, March 9 beginning at 10am. Please call (601) 951-0747 Mari to RSVP.

Our book club, Beverage and a Book, will meet from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14 to discuss “Little Fires Everywhere.” Copies of this book are available at Landmark for those wishing to join the discussion. The Viking Library Bookmobile visits Henning every other Tuesday with next dates scheduled for April 28, March 14, and March 28 from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in front of the Landmark Station building.

Viking Library and Henning Landmark Center will host a performance of music and comedy by Ross Sutter and Art Bjornjeld. This free event is scheduled for Monday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Refreshments will be served following the performance.
