Volunteers are needed for a Community Mural Painting project at the Landmark Station building this week, Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 12-14.  We will break up into three shifts each day, two-hours per shift. All design work will already be drawn on the exterior of the building by mural artist Chalsey Falk. Volunteers will simply paint by number and fill in areas with different colors. Please call or scan our QR code on poster to select a shift, 8-10 a.m., 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., or 4-6 p.m. Help us add a little art to the main street of Henning.

Printmaking Workshop with Michael Weatherly, originally scheduled for Saturday Aug. 15 and 22, will be postponed until fall, likely October. Please call 548-5760 if you have interest in attending this two day workshop. We will inform you when new date is set.

Artist Mimi Seykora will host a five day Pottery workshop at Landmark in September. The workshop will be three hours per  day, spread out over a three week period allowing time for clay to dry, designs to be added, bisque firing, and glazing. Each student will have the opportunity to create multiple artworks using wheel throwing, hand building, or slab. Dates are set for Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, Sept. 8, 10, 15, 17 and 22.
