Local non-profits are coming together

0To the Editor,
I would like to thank al the volunteers from the Haunted House who dedication provided a ton of entertainment for people from all over the area. Their efforts not only put Henning on the map as far as a spooky Halloween adventure, but also provides for a variety of charitable contributions for the people of Henning.
I’d also like to acknowledge the long hours various Lion members put in to provide food for those people who needed it. There are too many people to name here in this space to thank, but all of them worked so hard.
The non-profits of this town have now begun to work together to provide more great things for locals to enjoy. Officer Helle’s efforts on the new shelter at the playground is one such example of how organizations and individuals can come together to do wonderful things.
Too often only a few people shoulder this burden, but if we all lift together, the work becomes more fun and lighter. Please consider adding your time and talent to one of the many non profit groups who give so generously of their time to making Henning a better place to live.
Sincerely,
Lion Beth Rose,
Henning
