Landmark Center

Dan Broten

Thank you to all who attended and to all the volunteers that made our annual corn feed a success.

We were blessed with a beautiful August evening with great food, music, and fellowship. We wish you all a safe and healthy end of summer and a return to school next week.

A presentation by MNDOT to Henning businesses will be offered at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept.1 at the Henning Community Center. This will be a last opportunity to voice opinions or concerns about specific sidewalk configuration built into the 2024 Hwy.108 reconstruction project. All are welcomed to attend.

A Community Collaborative group will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept.12 at the Landmark Center to discuss various other community projects and activities. Please join us and help us all work together to keep our town moving forward.

Workshops coming up at the Landmark Center include Rosemaling with Carol Braaten from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 15 and Wood Chip Carving with Sid Visness from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24. Please call for additional registration information for this or other arts opportunities.

The Landmark Center is also available for public and private events, family gatherings, and overnight retreats. Call 548-5760 or visit www.HenningLandmark.org for more information.
