Daily demos are on the hour beginning at 9 or 10am each day. “This Activity is funded in part by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council through a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation.”
Our reading group will meet from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8 to discuss “Testimony.” Copies of this book are available at the Landmark Center for those wishing to join the discussion. Viking Library will continue serving Henning with their new bookmobile every other Tuesday beginning June 8.

Artist Lana Beck will return to Henning for a one day “Grandma and Me” painting workshop at the Landmark Center on June 17 from 5-7 p.m. Adult and youth couples will work on creating an acrylic painting from start to finish. All materials will be provided, space is limited to six couples.
Beck will help guide a community mural painting project at the city park from June 18-19. Volunteers of all ages will be asked to help paint seasonal artwork on the bath structure in the park. Please contact the Landmark Center if interested in being a part of this project. We will need many hands to make it happen. “This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.”
