Artist Ruth Hanson will conduct a two-day painting workshop featuring Independent Layering using Acrylic paints, collage, and graphic images to create a multi-layered artwork on Watercolor Paper on Thursday June 25 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and Saturday June 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Space is limited so please call to RSVP by June 18. We will need you to provide a few photo images to be prepared for use within your painting. Registration fee includes all materials and instruction. Call for details, 548-5760. 

Join us for a free family friendly, indoor performance at Landmark Center by the Schiffelly Puppets, on Wednesday June 24 at 7 p.m. This event is brought to us by the Viking Library with Minnesota Legacy grant funding. 

Our monthly book group will meet Tuesday June 30 from 2-4 p.m. to discuss “Theo of Golden.” All are welcomed. The Bookmobile visits Henning the same day from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in front of the Landmark Station building. 

Coming in July we have a two-day “Art in the Park” event July 8 and 29 provided by NY Mills Cultural outreach. Watch for details to come. 

Mark your calendar for the Historic Henning Walking Tour by Chris Schuelke kicking off festival weekend, July 9 at 7 p.m. beginning in front of Landmark Center. Proceeds will benefit the Otter Tail County Historical Society. 

Also in July, McKenna Osmondson will host two arts workshops at Landmark including a two-day youth clay project July 21 and 28, and a three-day Glass Tile Mosaic workshop for youth and adults, July 22, 23 and 24. Watch for details to come.
