Landmark Center

A few spaces remain for the Saturday CPR Class at the Landmark Center. This four hour class is presented by Tri-County Health Care and funded in part by the Lake Region Electric Cooperative.

Attendees will receive a two-year certification in CPR training, you must call 548-5760 to register.

The Viking Library Bookmobile visits Henning every other Tuesday, with next visit scheduled for March 1 from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in front of the Landmark Station building.

Beverage and a Book readers group will meet on Tuesday, March 15 from 2-4 p.m. to discuss “The Sound of Gravel.” Copies of this book are available at the Landmark Center for those wishing to join the discussion.

Other arts activities coming soon will include birdhouse painting, basket weaving, and pencil drawing in April, and the CHAT Bike Rodeo on May 3. Many other summer activities are in the works and will be announced as schedules are firmed up.

The Henning Landmark Center continues to work towards collecting Henning History through photographs and personal stories from the past. We hope to include this information in a permanent Henning History Archive and possibly a Henning History Book. Please contact the Landmark Center if you have a story top share or an old photo we might scan for the archives.

Remember also that the Landmark Center is available for you to use for private and public gatherings, meeting, receptions, reunions, workshops, and retreats. We have public Wi-Fi Access and Smart-room capabilities for a possible ZOOM meeting.

Please contact Dan Broten at the Landmark Center for additional information at 548-5760.
