The Landmark Center hosted a Mimi Seykora Pottery Workshop last week in the Station building. The workshop was just one of several on tap at the Henning establishment.

A few spaces remain for the chip carving workshop by Sid Visness, which is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Landmark Center. This workshop is sponsored in part by the Sons of Norway Lodge 1-32 from Vining. Ask about a rescheduled date for the Carol Braaten Rosemaling Workshop. Please call 548-5760 soon to RSVP. 

Our readers group, Beverage and a Book, will meet from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27 to discuss “Mondays Not Coming.” Copies of this book are available at the Landmark Center for those wishing to join the discussion. 

Our annual Pie and Pumpkin Oktoberfest is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Landmark Center. Help us celebrate the arrival of fall with free pie and ice cream, pumpkin painting, activities for youth and live music by Alec and Darren. 

Mark your calendars for an evening with Teddy Roosevelt on Monday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. More details to come soon.
