A few spaces remaining for Patricia Wahl Acrylic Painting workshop at the Landmark Center on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  This is your chance to create a unique 11×14” canvas Painting based on VanGough Starry Night and Sunflower paintings, with step by step instruction. No prior experience is necessary. 

Space is limited so please call 548-5760 to RSVP. “This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.”

Beverage and a Book reading group will meet from 2- 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26 to discuss “The Autobiography of Mrs. Tom Thumb.” Copies of this book are available at the Landmark Center for those wishing to join the discussion. 

Please mark your calendars for our annual Pie and Pumpkin Oktoberfest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7. Free pie and ice cream, pumpkin painting and live bluegrass music by Fred Keller and the Skally Line. There might even be a few pop-up surprises.

Artist MaryJo Wentz will host a Wet Felting workshop at the Landmark Center on Friday, Oct. 20. Space is limited, please call 548-5760 to RSVP. 

Thank you to all the volunteers and auction donors for a successful Corn and Brat Feed at the Landmark Center, with special thanks to Buehler’s Produce for donation of our freshly picked sweet corn. It was delicious.
