Henning Landmark Center will host our annual Pie & Pumpkin Oktoberfest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, with free pie and ice cream, pumpkin painting, and live gospel Bluegrass music performed by The Spindler’s. Depending on weather, this event will likely be held inside the Landmark Center. Please join us and help celebrate the Fall season in Henning. 

A memorial reception for Jeff Bondy will be held at Landmark Center on Sunday, Oct. 4 from 1-4 p.m. 

Mari Fredericks will host a Stamp Card making workshop on Tuesday October 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please Mari call to register at (601) 951-0747.

Minnesota photographer Doug Ohman will be at Landmark Center Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. presenting his new program, “America 250.” He will focus on our positive accomplishments, highlighting the people and events that have helped make America the greatest Nation in history. This is a free program, no registration is required. This event is made possible by Legacy grant funding received by the Viking Library System. 

The Henning Landmark Center will host another Viking Library event along with the Sons of Norway at the Leif Erikson lodge in Vining, on Friday, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m. Join us for the musical Trio, Caleigh, as they present a free program entitled “They Brought their Songs: International Folk Music in Minnesota.”
