Landmark Center

Thank you to the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Board for the favorable review of our National Register nomination proposal. Through several years of research and a presentation by our historian Rolf Anderson, our nomination was approved and will now pass on to Washington, DC for final stamp of approval making Henning Landmark Center a National Register listed building sometime in January.

Our goal is that this recognition will help us celebrate the significance of our local history, while also providing the possibility of additional resources to help us maintain and operate the Landmark Center. More on National Register details soon.

The Landmark Center would also like to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving and thank you for the support our entire community has shared. We are proud to be a part of this community and encourage you to take advantage of this facility and all the opportunities we provide. We are working on new activities and events for 2022, and as always remain available for you to use for your public or private gatherings, meetings, workshops, reunions, receptions, and retreats. We have five retreat bedrooms with space for 10 overnight guests and offer free public WiFi.

Thank you to the Henning Shining Lights 4-H for help with the Landmark Center decorations and to the Henning utility crew for helping raise and light our community Christmas tree and thanks to all others that helped us prepare for the upcoming holiday festivities.
