As we prepare to rind in the New Year, Henning Landmark Center wishes to thank all of our supporters, volunteers, financial donors and funding sources that help make possible the activities and opportunities we make available to our community throughout the year. Thank you to all community volunteers for making this years Santa Day event the best ever. We must have done something right as the weather could not have been better on the day that we needed it most. It was humbling to see how our community comes together to celebrate the treasures we have been blessed with. Please carry this feeling of unity, celebration, and strength into the new year and know that together we are better.
Look for new year scheduling to come forward as events are finalized.
The Landmark Center Community Puzzle Project is still coming, although will drift into the New Year. Two large mural puzzles will be broken down to individual 1,000-piece puzzles that will be assembled by members of our community then brought together to form two large murals depicting 15-years of Landmark Center arts activities, and Henning History. Watch for details.
The Landmark Center welcomes your annual membership and encourages you to participate in the many activities we make available. As a 501c3 Non-Profit, any Landmark donations are tax deductible.
We also receive grant funding from the MN Legacy Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund for a variety of arts projects, and operating support. Funding in 2024 included our Summer Art workshop series, and a portion of funding for a new larger format printer. Once tuned up, this printer will be made available for large art prints and reproductions. “These activities are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.”
We also received Creative Support grant funding from the MN State Arts Board, specifically for purchase of a new laptop computer needed to keep up with producing promotional graphics, art prints, and soon helping to produce out two large puzzle murals.
Thank you all for making Henning a great place to Live, Work, and Play, and for all you contribute to the success of our Hometown Henning.
