Landmark Center wants to say thank you to all of our members, supporters, donors, and participants in the many activities and opportunities we have been able to host within our community for the past 13 years. We continue to strive to provide a warm and welcoming facility available for public and private usage for meetings, family gatherings, reunions, receptions, exhibits, and retreats.
The Landmark Center offers free Wi-Fi access, usage of our Smart Room technology, second floor bed space for up to 10 overnight guests, a collection of local history artifacts, and a growing list of annual arts exhibits and workshops for all ages and skill levels.
We are happy to announce approval of a recent Legacy Grant from the Lake Region Arts Council and the MN Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund that will help us provide 6 new Arts events in 2023, including Wet Felting, Watercolor Batik Painting, Acrylic Painting, two-day Printmaking, five-day Pottery, and two-day Relief Wood Carving. Dates will be announced within our new year event calendar coming soon. Landmark Center has also received an Operating Support Grant from LRAC which helps pay a portion of Director Salary and Utilities. “This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund and in part through a Minnesota State Legislative general fund appropriation.”
We rely on financial support from grants, membership & workshop fees, and donations from individuals and organizations. Please consider becoming a member and helping us continue to provide a space and activities for our entire community to celebrate.
As we enter the holiday season, we do have a few remaining workshops and events to announce.
