The Anxious

Generation Book Study

The Anxious Generation explores why today’s kids and teens are struggling more with anxiety, stress, and loneliness—and what grown-ups can do to help.  Jonathan Haidt explains how childhood has changed over the last decade, especially with the rise of smartphones and social media, and why these changes matter for young people’s well-being.

Join book study facilitators Joye Peterson and Tether Eckhoff beginning on Monday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. in the Henning Public School Library. Pre-register and pick up a book at the Henning Public School District Office by January 19. A limited number of books are available to borrow for the duration of the book study on a first come, first served basis.  We will be discussing parts 1 and 2 of the book on January 26; part 3 on February 23 and part 4 on March 24.
