Henning CHAT gears up for a busy 2023

Henning Community Health Action Team also know as CHAT continues to be active in the Henning Community.
Meetings are held monthly at the Henning Landmark Center with a zoom online option. Anyone interested in promoting safe and healthy activities in our community is welcome to participate in the meetings or to help with events.
The three largest activities sponsored by CHAT are the Backpack Feeding Program at the Henning School ($5,000 per year), Snacks on Wednesday for K-6 grades($2,000 per year), and the Bike Rodeo ($500 per year) held in May. In addition CHAT provides water for the annual Track and Field Day in the spring; snacks and water for the Henning 5 K, information at Henning Night Out, Ice Cream at the Annual Turkey BBQ, Santa Day Activities, and the CHIT CHAT articles in the Citizen’s Advocate.
Serving on the CHAT Committee are Nikki Olson, Chai: Nikki Lohse, Treasurer; Diane Thorson, Recorder; Dan Broten; Annette Wigert; Donna Smith; and Melissa Sparks. CHAT would like to thank all the people and organizations that served on the committee in previous years, helped with activities, and/or made financial donations to support our work.
