Don’t always judge a book by its cover

0My most recently read book is titled “Where Are They Buried? How Did They Die? Fitting Ends and Final Resting Places of the Famous, Infamous, and Noteworthy.” It is written by Tod Benoit.
When the old adage of “Don’t judge a book by its cover” pops into my head, I try to tamp it down. This book title just kept appearing to me when I was going through the non fiction section of the library recently. This book covers the likes of Louis Armstrong, Greta Garbo, Mark Twain, Jimi Hendrix, Bonnie and Clyde, Marilyn Monroe, Mother Teresa, Kurt Cobain, Lucille Ball, Charles Dickens, John Wayne and 425 others. It gives a one or two page synopsis of their life, their birth and death dates along with how they died. He gives details how to find their burial places along with several little known facts about the people.
This book is over 500 pages in length, but is an easy and interesting read. Many of these famous people I know by name only, with little history of them. If you are interested in reading this book come on up to the library and we will help you check it out.
Henning Library hours are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30-5:30 p.m. following the school calendar.
