Henning Library

This week at the Henning Public School library we are featuring the book series Christmas around the world. This eight book set covers Christmas in England, Mexico, Sweden, Philippines, France, Germany, Italy, and Norway.  

These books cover the different decorations used, the unique holiday foods served, Christmas songs, as well as the different Christmas gift customs.  Each book gives you words to know about the country, helpful addresses and internet sites.  

If you have a desire to go to one of these countries, swing on up to the Henning Public School library and check one of these books out.  You’ll be surprised at all the information packed into these books.We are open from 3:30-5:30 pm following the school calendar on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  

We also have received over 50 new puzzles to add to our puzzle exchange. Even if you do not have a puzzle to exchange, we welcome you to come and get one. There are puzzle sizes from 60 pieces to 1,000 pieces. There are shaped puzzles, bright puzzles, cork puzzles, and so many different skill levels.  We hope you’ll come get a puzzle to share around the table with your family this winter.
