Kristin Hannah is a well known author who writes emotionally gripping novels that take the reader into themes about love, resilience, loss and human relationships.  She has written over 20 books. Although we do not have all of Kristen Hannah’s books, we have some.

The “Nightingale” was written in 2015 and is most likely her most famous work.  It is set in Nazi-occupied France during World War II and tells the story of two sisters who take drastically different paths to survive and resist the oppression.  This book highlights the often-overlooked role that women have played in wartime and highlights bravery, sacrifice, and the enduring human spirit.

“The Women” was published in 2024 and delves into the experiences of Frankie McGrath, a oung nurse who serves with  the U.S. Army Nurse Corps during the Vietnam War.  This book explores the challenges women faced in combat zones.  It explores tragedy, suffering, friendships, and healing.

“The Four Winds” was published in 2021 and lays out the resilience during the Great Depression and explores the American Dream.  Elsa Martinelli is the main character who becomes disowned by her family.  She marries a Martinelli.  They live in the Texas Panhandle during the Dust Bowl on a dry, dusty farm.  Elsa must face the decision to stay and fight for the land that has been in the family for generations or fight a long journey westward to California in search of another start to a better way of life.

Kristin Hannah can weave a story that will touch your heart.
