Memorial Services were held for Teresa “Tracy” Christine Haugen, age 42, of Henning on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, in Henning, with Pastor Keith Lankford officiating. Tracy was laid to rest at Good Shepherd’s Cemetery.  

Teresa “Tracy” Christine Dietz was born on April 16, 1979, to Dan and Linda (Tverberg) Dietz in Sioux Falls, S.D. She and her family lived in Grafton, N.D., and Dayton, Minn., for some time. They made their home in Perham, Minnesota where Tracy attended Perham High School, graduating with the class of 1997.  

Follwhere she was employed at Denny’s Food-N-Sport Shop, Chagen’s Pub and Oakwood Supper Club & Golf Course. In 2004, Tracy was united in marriage to Kevin Haugen at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Henning. Their marriage was blessed with two sons: Nick and Mark. Tracy enjoyed baking, cooking, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed entertaining guests around the bonfire. She loved raising and spending time with her children, as well as participating in many local community events.  

On July 9, 2021, Tracy passed away at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minn., at 42 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Preceding Tracy in death are her infant twin siblings.  

Tracy is survived by her husband: Kevin (Oscy) Haugen of Henning; father: Dan Dietz of Burnsville Minn.; mother: Linda (George) Lorentz of Ottertail; sons: Nick Haugen of Henning; and Marc Haugen of Minneapolis, Minn.; brothers: Joseph (Mary Beth) Dietz of Chicago, Ill.; and Paul Dietz of Minneapolis, Minn.; many other relatives and a host of friends.
