Sharon Ann (Pusc) Rakow, age 94, of Henning, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Shady Oak Retreat Adult Foster and Hospice Care Home in Underwood. 

Sharon Ann Pusc was born on July 12, 1928, to Herman and Eva (Kohl) Pusc at Halls Hospital in Little Falls, Minn. Sharon grew up helping her parents out with the family farm. She attended district 108 country school for 1st-7th grades, district 42 for 8th grade and graduated from Little Falls High School in 1946. 

Sharon was united in marriage to Dale Rakow on November 6, 1954; the couple was blessed with two sons Greg and Kevin. Dale and Sharon made their home on a small farm near Randall, Minn., from 1954 until 1959. The couple farmed near Freedom, Minn., from 1959 until 2005 when they moved to Henning, residing there until their deaths. 

Sharon worked as a secretary for a few businesses in her life namely; the Register of Deeds, Little Falls Hatchery, and Crestline Products all of Little Falls, Minn., and then Trillium Nursing Home in Brainerd, Minn. 

Sharon is survived by her two sons; Greg (Xiomara Kirby) Rakow and Kevin Rakow, grandchildren; Jody, Latha, Jessica and Isaac, six great-grandchildren; Isaiah, Eva, Erik, Isabell, Tiffany, Tylan. 

No services per Sharon’s request. She will be laid to rest in Inman Cemetery, Henning.
