Memorial services will be held for Peter Jobe, age 40 of Perham, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Henning, with Pastor Dan Larsen officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. with prayer service beginning at 6 p.m. at Belmont-Karvonen Funeral Home in Henning. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at church. Peter will be laid to rest at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Henning. 

Peter Andrew Jobe, the son of Ronald and Glenda (Hack) Jobe, was born on September 10, 1981 in Rochester, Minn. He was baptized in 1981 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin, Minn., and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Menomonie Falls, Wis., in 1996. Peter graduated from New York Mills High School in 2000, and from South Central College in Mankato in 2005. Peter enjoyed spending time at the cabin with friends, bonfires, and fireworks. He enjoyed all sports. 

Peter worked as a CNA, and then in marketing, first at DigiKey in Thief River falls, Minn., Growthzone in Brainerd, Minn., and then at TE Connectivity in Harrisburg Penn. 

Peter died November 3, 2021. He is survived by his children: Rhyan Jobe of Bismarck, N.D.; Walter Jobe of Brainerd, Minn.; and Patsy Jobe of Brainerd, Minn.; parents: Ron and Glenda Jobe; sisters: Amy (Sunil) Santhanakrishnan; and Carrie (Casey) Poole; nieces: Samantha Jobe, Alexa Moose, and Raina Santhanakrishnan; nephew: Jay Santhanakrishnan; 2 great-nieces; uncles and aunts including Larry and Dee Jobe with whom he lived for a time; cousins, and many friends. He was a “brother” to many.  

Peter was preceded in death by his grandparents: Oscar and Esther Jobe; and Glen and Sue Hack; godmother: Maedeen Jobe; and cousin: Rodney Jobe.
