Michelle Lee (Wehmeyer) Klimp, age 40, of Ottertail, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024, unexpectedly. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Henning, with visitation one hour prior to services. Michelle was laid to rest at Girard Union Cemetery, in Henning.

Michelle Lee Wehmeyer was born on March 3, 1984, in Seattle, Wash., to Kevin Sr. and Cindy (Raynes) Wehmeyer. She attended and graduated from Monroe Washington High School.

Michelle was blessed to have two children, Marissa and Jaden.

When Michelle moved to Wisconsin, she met Bejamin Klimp in Eau Claire in January 2020, and the couple was united in marriage on March 15, 2024. They made their home in Ottertail.

She worked in customer service at Carr’s Lake Country Super Market and Ottertail Rod and Gun Club. Michelle enjoyed the outdoors, spending time by the lake, road trips with Ben, and making things with her Cricut machine. She loved spending time with her family since they meant the world to her.

Michelle was a loving, joyful, caring, and funny soul, bringing happiness to those around her. She was also very strong, courageous and fearless. Michelle will be dearly missed by those who mourn her.

Deeply loved, Michelle’s passing will be mourned by her husband Benjamin; her children Marissa Williams and Jaden Ballard; her stepdaughters Sierra and Mya Klimp; her father Kevin Sr.; her brother Kevin (Ruby) Wehmeyer; nephews Bentley Sandstrom, Nathan and Jaxon Wehmeyer; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Michelle is preceded in death by her mother Cindy.
