Marcia (Olson) Steine was born on March 14, 1935 in Wadena. Her parents were the late Olaf and Ina Olson of Henning. Marcia graduated from Henning High School with the class of 1953. 

Marcia was married and lived in the Minneapolis area until retiring to the Battle Lake area where she enjoyed her favorite hobby of fishing. Marcia was employed by Control Data for 27 years.

After suffering from Parkinson’s for 17 years, Marcia died on March 29, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Battle Lake.

Marcia is survived by her five children—Kathy Steine, Curt Steine, Sandy (Mike) Kenyon, Abby (Todd) Volden, Alan Steine; seven grandchildren—Jason, Joe, Levi, Hannah, Cassie, Matthew, Micthanial; five great grandchildren—Colton, Jackson, Wyatt, Alayna, Ciela; sister—Lorraine Kalenda; brother—Hershel Olson and many other relatives.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
