0Karen Jane (Wark) Rehm, 81, of Henning, was called home to heaven on May 18, 2026. Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church in Henning, Minnesota. Visitation was held one hour prior to mass at church. Karen was laid to rest at St. Edward Catholic Cemetery, Henning.

She was born on September 26, 1944, to John and Ruth Wark of Almora. She graduated from Henning High School in 1962. Karen was united in marriage with William “Bill” Rehm on December 1, 1962, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Henning, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with four sons: Robert “Bob”, William “Bill”, Brent, and Brad.
In 1963, Karen and Bill moved to Minneapolis, Minn. Bill was employed with Hitchcock Industries. Karen was employed by Northwest Airlines, and she enjoyed playing on their women’s softball team. They remained in Minneapolis until 1965 when they purchased a farm and moved back to rural Henning. Karen was her husband’s partner in running the farm until their sons were old enough to assist with the many chores. She also worked at the Henning Nursing Home for several years after their sons were grown.
Karen and Bill loved to dance and were frequent attendees at the Highway Park Ballroom near Almora. When she was younger, Karen loved running and much to the chagrin of her older brothers, she outran them at every opportunity. Karen was also a cat lover. She was always happy when at least one or two cats were part of the household. In recent years, she enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, although her cats mischievously thwarted her efforts on a regular basis when they walked on her carefully sorted puzzle pieces.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and John Wark, Sr., husband William (Bill) Rehm, and siblings Milo Wark, Steven Wark, Lucille Klimek, and Lindley Wark.
She is survived by her four sons: Robert “Bob”, William “Bill” (Natalie), Brent, and Brad (Carmen); brother John Wark, Jr. (Karen Clevelend); sisters-in-law: Bev Wark, Sharon Wark, Kathy Wark, and Gail Rehm; many nieces, nephews and friends blessed her life.
