Jerry Lawrence Triebenbach, 81, of Deer Creek, passed away on October 31, 2021 at the Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena. 

Jerry Lawrence Triebenbach was born on September 23, 1940, in Osakis, Minn. His parents were the late Paul and Elizabeth (Beckers) Triebenbach. Jerry was baptized and confirmed at Long Prairie Trinity Lutheran Church. He graduated from Long Prairie High School in 1958. 

In 1959-1960 Jerry worked as a Merchant Marine. From 1960-1964 he served in the Coast Guard. After his service, he attended Wadena Technical School, acquired his lineman degree, and was employed at Runestone Electric. He went back to Wadena Technical School from 1970-72 for Construction Electrician courses and was then employed by Glenwood Electric. Jerry started his own electrician business, Moonlight Electric, in 1975. 

Jerry married Kathleen Jorgenson in 1965 and to this union they had two children, Trevor and Ryan. Jerry moved to Deer Creek in 1995 and continued his electrical business. Jerry married Ardell Lange at Trinity Lutheran Church in Deer Creek on October 27, 1996. 

Jerry loved motorcycling, woodworking, and square dancing. He belonged to the A.B.A.T.E. organization, Wadena Whirlaway Square-dance Club, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Deer Creek.  

He will be missed by his family and friends.  

Preceding Jerry in death were his parents, infant brother David, siblings Louis, Eli, and Norma (Hollingsworth), and brother-in-law Everett Berg.  

His memory will live on with his wife, Ardell, of 25 years, his sons, Trevor (Kathy Booker) and Ryan (Kari Zimney), his sister, Sonja Berg, his brother, Roger, his stepchildren, Steven (Lisa) Lange, Sherry (Nathan) Purrington, Douglas (Kris) Lange, Peggy (James) Greenwaldt: 11 step-grandchildren, and five step great-grandchildren. 

Visitation was held on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. with prayer service beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Deer Creek. 

Memorial Services were held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Deer Creek. Visitation resumed one hour prior to the service at church.
