Jerry Dusa, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son passed away on September 30, 2022 at the age of 74.  Jerry was born November 7, 1947 in Alexandria, Minn., to Martin and Vi Dusa.  He was the second born son to the couple and was one of four children in the family.  

Jerry attended Sacramento State College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration which prepared him for his successful career as a strong and respected business leader.  Jerry was known and admired throughout the business world for his work ethic and his personal integrity.

On March 22, 1969 Jerry and Margret (Greta) Norbeck were married in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacramento, Calif.  They raised two sons, Christopher and Matthew.

Jerry’s family was most precious to him as he would spend his time freely giving his advice, laughter and much love to his two grandsons, Ethan and Wyatt plus many nieces and nephews.  He was known for his quick wit, thoughtful discussions, generosity, and his kind and compassionate spirit.  Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jerry had a passion for the water and was at his best when spending time on one of their many boats.  The family enjoyed numerous boating adventures in the Virgin Islands, San Diego, the Puget Sound and the Sacramento Delta.  

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Martin, and mother, Vi.  He is survived by his wife, Greta, their two sons, Chris and Matt, their wives, Jessica and Rasa, grandsons, Ethan and Wyatt, brothers, Lee and Jim, sister, Maryann, and many nieces and nephews.

A “Celebration of Life” service will be held on November 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 14012 Walnut Avenue in Walnut Grove, Calif.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 University Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89119.  www.nah.org
