Janice “Jan” Barthel, age 81, of Wadena, passed away on April 16, 2026, at Perham Living in Perham, Minnesota. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4-7 p.m. with Prayer Service and Sharing Time beginning at 6 p.m. at Karvonen Funeral Home in Wadena. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Karvonen Funeral Home in Wadena. Visitation will resume one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Jan will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Bluffton.
