The memorial service celebrating the life of George Snook of Wadena, will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 10, at the Johnson-Schuller Chapel in Wadena with Pastor Dale Leehy presiding.

Visitation will be held at the Johnson-Schuller Chapel on Friday, from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

  George, age 65, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on November 29, 2021, at his home in rural Wadena.

  George was born to Lloyd and Christine (Anderson) Snook on May 7, 1956, in Parkers Prairie. He attended Henning Public School and went on to become a welder for over 30 years with Haarslev Manufacturing in Perham. In time away from work, George liked working on tractors, trucks and farm equipment. He had a special fondness for his four-legged friends and their puppies.

  Preceding George in death were his parents Lloyd and Christine; and siblings, Carl Snook and Elsie Husfeldt.

  George is survived by his brothers, Ken Snook of Parkers Prairie and Leland Snook of Deer Creek; sisters JoAnn Turchin of Henning and Deloris Turchin of Parkers Prairie; along with several nieces and nephews.

  Burial will be held at a later date in Inman Cemetery, Henning.
