Andrea Broughten is hoping her new business will provide a way for local residents to not only become more relaxed, but feel better as well. 

Massage by Andrea recently moved to the Healthy Balance Chiropractic building in Henning and will begin offering massage therapy services in the community. Broughten has over 18 years of experience in massage therapy and has most recently worked at a spa at Madden’s Resort. 

Prior to working at Madden’s, Broughten helped to develop the massage program at Lakewood Health Systems in Staples. 

Broughten was already seeing Dr. Sara Oscarson at Healthy Balance Chiropractic when they began talking about massage therapy. When Oscarson found out Broughten was moving to the area to be closer to family, the Henning chiropractor encouraged the massage therapist to open a massage place in her building. 

“When she heard I was moving over here she asked if I would want to rent a room,” said Broughten.

Henning’s newest massage therapist said she really enjoys massages to help ease headaches, as well as pregnancy massages. That being said, she offers a wide variety of therapeutic massages, relaxation massages and deep tissue massages. 

Broughten said she is excited to be a part of the Henning community and open Massage by Andrea in town.
