Landmark to host corn, brat feed on Friday

The annual Landmark Center Corn and Brat Feed is this Friday, Aug. 26 at the Landmark Center. The event will be held from 5-7 p.m.
Join us for a free-will meal including fresh sweet corn, grilled brats by Doug Trana, live music by Keith and Aaron Johnson, silent auction items and root beer floats. Celebrate summer fun with friends and neighbors at this outdoor Henning tradition.
Please call Dan Broten if you are interested in helping serve for a one hour shift.
Learn the basics of the card game “Bridge” on Mondays from 1-4 p.m. at the Landmark Center. Space is available for August 29, please call for additional information. Volunteers are needed for Work Night in the Park on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. at the city park. Bring a rake or a shovel, move some dirt, plant some grass seed, help install benches. Food will be provided by the Henning Lions.
A few spaces remain for the five day pottery workshop with Mimi Seykora Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning September 13 from 1-4 p.m.
Create with clay using pottery wheel, slab roller, or hand building. All supplies, instruction, and kiln firings are included, call to RSVP. Workshop dates are September 13, 15, 20, 22 and 27.
Sons of Norway will present three arts workshops at the Landmark Center, including rosemaling on September 15, wood chip carving on September 24 and marquetry wood Iinlay on October 11. Please call 548-5760 for additional information or to register for any of these workshops.
The Landmark Center is available for private or public meetings, receptions, reunions, research, and retreats for up to 10 overnight guests.
