The skies over the Henning airport will be abuzz, literally, as dozens of planes will be coming to town on Saturday for the 38th annual Henning Fly-in breakfast.

The breakfast, which is a fundraiser for the Henning EAA Chapter 1065, will be serving from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. The breakfast will feature pancakes, eggs and sausages for a free-will donation. A variety of door prizes will also be given away from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. as local volunteers, and possibly even a few pilots from the Twin Cities area, will be serving breakfast and showcasing some of the unique aspects of the Henning airport.

Those who attend will also have the opportunity to get an up-close look at everything from classic planes to ultra lights, war birds and antique airplanes.

In addition to breakfast, local residents will also have the opportunity to take a ride in an airplane. For a $35 donation per person, local pilots will take residents on a plan ride over the greater Henning area.

The event will be held rain or shine at the Henning airport.
