Space is still available for the Mary Smith Basket Weaving Workshop scheduled for Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Landmark Center. Your $35 registration fee covers all materials and instruction needed to create your own custom basket woven with natural reeds around a glass Vase. Please call 548-5760 to RSVP.
The annual CHAT Bike Rodeo is scheduled for Tuesday, May 3 from 5-7 p.m. This annual event will include 12 new bicycle giveaways, bike tune-ups, helmet fittings, safety checks, obstacle course, bike drag race, picnic dinner and Lions eye testing. Please mark your calendars and get ready for a safe and health Summer riding season.
Our reading group, Beverage and a Book, will meet on May 10 from 2-4 p.m. to discuss “Home for Unwanted Girls.” Copies of this book are available at Landmark for those wishing to join the discussion.
Additional workshops schedule for May include Pencil Portrait Drawing with Faythe Ann Mills on Saturday May 14 and Needle Felting with Mary Jo Wentz on Saturday May 21.
