To the Editor,

As a renter of Countryview Apartments (owned by the City of Henning) in reading the eight page lease, the city has a pretty strict lease. Except there is no requirement that the renters live in the apartments. In other words you could go to Florida in the winter and that would be OK. Yes you would have to pay the rent, but someone that needs an apartment year round would be left out.

Where are those in charge who should be looking out for the people’s best interest? Why would the city let some selfish person that cares only about themselves get away with that?
