To the Editor,

Congratulations to  Chad, our Citizen’s Advocate owner and  editor,  for being elected as President of the  Minnesota Newspaper Association.   As an editor of a small town newspaper, this is a big   honor to receive.   We are happy for you.

Honors are also due Chad   for his papers earning 11 awards as he competed against over 3,200 entries in competition from papers of all sizes located over the entire state. The Citizen’s Advocate is a publication we can all be proud of. Chad is faithful to cover all extra activities in the community and he does an excellent job of honoring our school students in all their events with pictures and information. He is good at seeking out and writing up special stories that inform us of newsworthy items. He makes it a point to be helpful in promoting our area festivals and community sponsored events.

In this time, when Covid fear has gone on and on and negativity seems all around, the Citizen’s Advocate is a big positive in this community that serves us. A big thank you Chad
