Kindergarten and first graders at Henning School were among the lucky students to meet several members of the Henning Fire Department on Friday morning. The students learned about fire safety, what to do in the event of a fire and what a firefighter might look like when they come into a home. Among the highlights for the students was being able to see the inside of a fire truck, as well as getting to spray the big fire hoses in the school parking lot.
