Otter Tail Central freshman Kinley Bormann reached the podium at the state track and field meet on Thursday after she took fourth place in the Class A long jump with a jump of 17’7 1/4”. The jump beat her seed by just over an inch. 

The following day, Bormann took ninth place in the triple jump with a jump of 35’11 3/4”. Ellie Sosa of DGF won the event with a jump of 38’11 1/2”. 

Henning High School and Otter Tail Central sophomore Myiesha Antoni took 18th place in the high jump with a jump of 4’11”. The winner of the event was McKaylen Lewis of Math and Science Academy with a jump of 5’5”. 

On the boys side, Battle Lake and Otter Tail Central senior Mason Dalluge took ninth place in the triple jump on Thursday with a jump of 43’5 1/4”. The winner of the event was Brayson Boike of Lac qui Parle Valley with a jump of 45’3 1/4”. On Friday, Dalluge took 15th place in the long jump with a jump of 20’3 1/2”. The winner of the event was Jordan Mount of Crosby-Ironton with a jump of 23’2 1/4”. 

The state track and field meet was held at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
