The Country Corner Cafe in Henning hosted a Veterans Day appreciation luncheon on Monday, Nov. 13. The meal featured Swedish meatballs and all the fixings, including a patriotic salad and patriotic dessert for everyone who attended. A prayer for veterans was read by Gloria Flaten. Each veteran was given a patriotic prayer shawl that was wrapped around them and were thanked for their service. The meal and event was made possible by Thrivent and the Country Corner Cafe.
