Summer to feature a number of road projects in OT County

Resurfacing

• Highways 8, 80 and 53 in Perham area, Central Specialties, Inc., Alexandria, resumed May 8, completion date estimated for September 2023

• Highway 51 near Perham, bids opened June 7, low bidder was Anderson Brothers Construction Company of Brainerd

• Highways 67 and 65 near Henning, awarded to Northdale Construction Co., Albertville, Minn.

Reconstruction

• Highways 35 and 18 near Underwood, Mark Sand & Gravel Co., Fergus Falls, started March 27, completion estimated for June 2024

Bridge and culvert

• Highway 45 bridge (Phelps Mill area) over Otter Tail River, awarded to Robert R. Schroeder Construction, Inc., Glenwood

• Bridge Repair, Highway 1 near Ottertail and over the Dead River at Walker Lake, Redstone Construction, LLC, Mora, Minn., substantially complete

Highway garages

• Battle Lake Garage access road paving, started June 1, Joe Riley Construction, Morris

• Pelican Rapids garage access road paving awarded to Central Specialties, Inc., Alexandria

Other

• Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) lighting (Includes 14 intersections), bids opened April 26, apparent low bidder, Cossette Electric, LLC, Fergus Falls

• HSIP edgelines (various routes) awarded to Sir Line-A-Lot, LLC, Edina, Minn.

• 2023 crack sealing (various routes) awarded to Lot Pros, Inc., Fergus Falls

• 2023 seal coat (various routes) awarded to Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp., St. Joseph, Minn.

• 2023 traffic marking (various routes) awarded to Sir Line-A-Lot, LLC, Edina, Minn.
