The Henning third and fourth graders were able to take time recently to make fleece hats with members of the 4-H. Donna Geiser from the 4-H Club lead the event and taught the kids a lot about how important it is to recycle and keep the planet clean. The fleece came from recycled products from many different local area recycling centers. The students had to figure out math problems to see how a little bit of recycled products from everyone goes a long way. The students were very grateful for the opportunity to make the hats and were able to see the impact that recycling makes. The Henning third and fourth grade teachers and students want to say a special thanks to our helpers Gail Guse and MaryAnn Wilke for helping with the project as well.
