OTC girls take third place at LP-GE Invite

The Otter Tail Central cross country team made the trek to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Tuesday for the annual LP-GE Eagle Invitational.
The OTC girls team finished in third place as a team with 87 points and trailed just Wadena-Deer Creek with 54 points and United North Central with 68 points in the standings.
The Bulldogs were led by Claire Mansker who finished in 15th place with a time of 21:48.86. Brielle Malone finished in 21st place with a time of 22:06.7,
Tegan Brandon finished in 27th place with a time of 23:03.19, Trinity Baker finished in 29th place with a time of 23:20.43, Quinn Hagemeister finished in 30th place with a time of 23:27.27 and Delia Tebrugge finished in 59th place with a time of 26:11.65.
On the boys side, the Bulldogs finished in eighth place out of 12 teams with 201 points. Wadena-Deer Creek won the boys meet with 32 points, while Holdingford finished in second place with 66 points.
The Bulldogs were led by Drew Robinson who finished in 13th place with a time of 18:26.43. Jude Hagemeister finished in 21st place with a time of 19:21.40, Oren Brackin finished in 64th place with a time of 21:14.39, Fred Scott finished in 68th place with a time of 21:22.39, Benjamin Sanmoogan finished in 69th place with a time of 21:23.19, Liam Daniel finished in 82nd place with a time of 22:43.98, Jack Robinson finished in 86th place with a time of 23:04.63 and Ethan Sonju finished in 92nd place with a time of 23:23.79.
This week the Bulldogs will travel to Grand Forks on Saturday for the annual Border Battle, which is one of the largest cross country meets in the region as it features teams from the tri-state area.
