Cross country team competes at annual Johanna Olson Invitational

Drew Robinson took 10th place and Jude Hagemeister finished in 18th place at the annual Johanna Olson Invitational in Wadena on Tuesday afternoon. Robinson paced the OTC boys with a time of 18:57.6, while Hagemeister finished with a time of 19:50.6.
Oren Brackin finished in 47th place with a time of 22:59.9, Benjamin Sanmoogan finished in 48th place with a time of 22:59.9, Liam Daniel finished in 53rd place with a time of 23:42.5, Fred Scott finished in 55th place with a time of 23:53 and Jack Robinson finished in 60th place with a time of 24:15.5.
As a team the boys finished in fifth place with 160 points. Park Rapids won the meet with 43 points, while Sauk Centre took second with 49 points. Wadena-Deer Creek took third with 76 points, Minnewaska Area was fourth with 112 points and Osakis was sixth with 169 points.
On the girls side, OTC finished in third place out of nine teams with a score of 91. Wadena-Deer Creek won the girls meet with 57 points, while Sauk Centre was second with 58 points. Minnewaska Area finished just one point back of the Bulldogs in fourth place with a score of 92.
Individually, OTC was led by Claire Mansker who took 13th place with a time of 23:23.2. Brielle Malone finished in 17th place with a time of 23:35.7, Quinn Hagemeister finished in 25th place with a time of 24:28.4, Tegan Brandon finished in 28th place with a time of 24:38.7, Trinity Baker finished in 29th place with a time of 24:39 and Delia Tebrugge finished in 40th place with a time of 26:37.4.
The Bulldogs will get a bit of a break from competition this week as they traveled to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Monday, before not returning to action until the large Border Battle in Grand Forks on Saturday, Sept. 26.
