The Henning North Stars had another successful season come to an end over the weekend at the hands of Long Prairie by a score of 12-0. However, Sunday’s loss came on the heels of one of the more dramatic wins in the Region 11C tournament so far as the North Stars scored four unearned runs in the top of the ninth inning to come away with a 4-2 win over the Deer Creek Shockers.
The North Stars ended their season with a record of 10-16 overall after once again advancing to the second weekend of the region tournament.
