Antoni signs letter of intent for University of Wisconsin-Parkside

Myiesha Antoni was joined by her mom Shandy Kurth and track coaches Brady Speicher and Brian Hovland on Saturday as she signed her National Letter of Intent to participate on the track team at Wisconsin-Parkside next year.

Henning High School senior Myiesha Antoni officially signed her National Letter of Intent to participate on the track team at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside next year. The senior is the daughter of Shandy Kurth.
Antoni qualified for the state track meet in the high jump as both a sophomore and junior. She was also a member of the 4×200-meter relay team that competed at the state track meet last season. As a junior, Antoni finished in 12th place at the state track meet clearing 5’2”.
Also a letter person in volleyball, Antoni said she decided to go to the University of Wisconsin–Parkside due to the good academic programs offered by the college, as well as the good track coaching staff.
“I decided to go to Parkside because they have really good programs for STEM fields and I really like the coaching staff. I also got to meet some of my teammates and they have a really good environment,” she said.
Located in Somers, Wisc., the University of Wisconsin–Parkside is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The college has 4,644 students and is known as the Rangers. The varsity sports participate in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
