Henning ends magical season with a 32-1 record, third place finish at Class A state tournament

Bradon Grabe, Kale Misegades and Dawson Bushman celebrate Henning’s third place finish at the Class A state basketball tournament on Saturday morning at Gangellhoff Center on the campus of Concordia University in St. Paul. The Hornets finished the season with a record of 32-1 overall with their only loss of the season coming in overtime of the state semi-finals against the eventual champions Hills-Beaver Creek. Henning wrapped up its season with a 79-67 win over Red Lake County in the third place game at state. Over the past four years the Hornets have went 115-10 overall including back-to-back trips to the state basketball tournament.
