Henning School students and staff members celebrated World Down Syndrome Day on Thursday with custom t-shirts and mismatched socks to show that differences make a community stronger. Throughout the day, Henning School students and staff took time to learn, connect and celebrate the unique abilities and contributions of individuals with Down Syndrome. At the end of the day a pair of Henning students walked the hallways while students cheered them on. As part of the festivities on Thursday, the Henning freshmen (above) and fifth grade (left) students received a free t-shirt and took a class picture to celebrate the occasion.
