The Henning Police Department will be hosting a Level 3 sex offender notification meeting on Monday, March 9 at 6 p.m. at the Henning Community Center. The meeting is open to the public and representatives from the Minnesota Department of Corrections will be on hand to answer questions about a Level 3 sex offender who has relocated to the town of Henning. 

The Level 3 sex offender is Jesus Soto Reyes, age 27. He is 5’7″ and 197 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. He was released from jail on Feb. 6, 2024 and has a history of engaging in sexual contact toward a known female child and known female teens. Contacts included penetration. 

According to a release from the Henning Police Department, Reyes allegedly used attention and affection in order to gain and exploit relationships of trust. He used these relationships in his efforts to maintain control.

His address is just listed as Henning and his date of address change was listed as Feb. 23, 2026. 

Reyes has served the sentence imposed on them by the court and is moving to the community.
