Otter Tail County Chief Deputy Reed Reinbold his candidacy for Otter Tail County Sheriff via social media on Friday, Feb. 20.

“Otter Tail County isn’t just where I work — it’s the community I’ve dedicated my career to serving,” Reinbold said. “More than two decades ago, I set a goal to serve with the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office because I believed in the people here and the values this county represents.”

Reinbold has served 21 of his 23 years as a licensed Minnesota peace officer in the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. 

“I currently serve as Chief Deputy, SWAT Commander, and Deputy Emergency Manager, overseeing daily operations, staffing, budgeting, training and modernization efforts,” he said.

Reinbold posted he believes in protecting citizens through professionalism, preparation, transparency, and fair enforcement of the law.

“I am running for Sheriff because Otter Tail County deserves strong leadership, clear accountability, and a Sheriff’s Office the public can trust. I would be honored to earn your support,” he said.
