The Otter Tail Central youth wrestlers have been very busy practicing and competing in local youth tournaments. On January 10, they competed in Fergus Falls and January 11, they competed in Parkers Prairie.

The inclement weather couldn’t stop the Otter Tail Central youth wrestlers from traveling and competing in tour this past weekend. On Friday, Jan. 16, 10 wrestlers traveled to New York Mills.

Ben Sweazey placed fourth, Boone Curtis first, Boone Schmidgall second, Courtney Spychalla first, Finley Springer third, Landon Fish fourth, Moe Horn first, Paisley Springer first, Peter Springer third and Rhett Thompson first.

Sunday brought in more Minnesota weather, but that didn‘t stop the youth wrestlers. Twelve wrestlers traveled to Staples and competed with over 350 youth wrestlers from the area. Archie Bussa placed first, Boedie Cronk third, Gunner Johnson fourth, Hayden Bussa second, Judah Horn third, Kaylee Johnson second, Kinsley Johnson second, Landon Fish fourth, Parker Bussa first, Raphael Johnson fourth, Sorahay Johnson third and Urban Bussa second.  Raphael and Sorahay competed in their first career tournament.
