OTC drops a pair to Osakis, LPGEB in triangular

The Otter Tail Central wrestlers dropped a pair of matches in a triangular against Osakis and Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Browerville on Tuesday night.
In their match against Osakis, Colton Dolezal opened things up with a tech fall win at 107 lbs. by a score of 18-3 to put OTC up 5-0. From there, Osakis won the next four matches by forfeit or pin, before securing a 9-4 decision at 139 lbs. to make the score 27-5.
Keaston Thorpe and Tayden Soma followed with back-to-back pins for the Bulldogs at 145 and 152 lbs., before Osakis won the next four matches by pin or forfeit to pull in front 51-17.
Joshua Larson won by a quick pin at heavyweight for OTC to make the final score 51-23 in favor of Osakis.
In addition to their match against the Silverstreaks, OTC fell to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Browerville by a score of 65-6.
The Bulldogs are currently 3-11 in duals this season and will host Walker-Hackensack-Akeley/Nevis and Border West in a triangular in Henning on Tuesday night beginning at 5 p.m., before participating in the Park Region Conference tournament on Saturday in BHVPP.
