Minnesota experiences numerous road crashes
Snow and strong winds contributed to more than 400 vehicles leaving roadways across Minnesota Sunday and Monday, Dec. 28 and Dec. 29. There were 33 injury crashes.
“Many of the crashes occurred late Sunday evening and into Monday morning,” said a member of the State Highway Patrol. “We had reports of at least seven jackknifed semis.”
Many people, fortunately, took warnings seriously and delayed or canceled travel plans until the snowstorm ended.
